So we landed in Milan Thursday evening and it was snowing……. Its really cool but we were just thinking that hopefully it doesn’t affect the attendance at the convention. Later on we met up with some friends and had an amazing Italian meal! Followed by a great time having a few……… A lot of drinks with some of the other artists at the convention hotel bar.
On friday before going to the convention we went into the city and checked out the Duomo…….. WOW! Seeing this place in person just blew my mind. I’ll be posting up detailed pictures later.
The first day of the convention was a success. The attendance was great! The artists working at this event are ridiculously good. I got a chance to tattoo a geisha on a girl named Sara. The drawing was done by her dad who is a tattoo artist out here in Milan. After tattooing the geisha I ended up tattooing a freehand skull on her parents which was split in two so it can be complete when they match up their arms.
Well it’s Saturday now and I’m off to the convention.
